Introduction

about polygamy known and very can address in our society seems still problematic in our study we will talk about the benefits and drawback of polygamy

       I.            Causes and benefits of polygamy
4.      Religion
first verse that has spilled much ink about polygamy is the following: "If you fear to be unfair for the orphans, marry women who you like. Have two, three or four, but if you fear to be unfair, one or many slaves for fear of being unfair. "(Sura 4, verse 3).The reader will notice that this verse is combined with the conditional sentence. All elements of this sentence are a very specific purpose. It cannot isolate an element or a part of this sentence. To give the right to do so is other than a betrayal of the text and the Koranic verse.  More the notion of justice is repeated three times at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the verse. It should challenge us. The verb «fear» above the first and the second concept 'unfair '. What informs the degree of the injustice.       the term justice is mentioned several times in the Quran. The fair is one of the sacred names of God in Islam that instructs the human being to be fair to others, especially towards the weak and orphans. Note that the first part of the sentence in the conditional insists on justice towards the orphan. This notion of justice is one of the conditions to the authorization of polygamy which is the theme of the second sentence of this verse. These two parts of the sentence represent a precise meaning which depends on third part connected to the first two by a second 'if' which introduces the concept of monogamy 'one '.  These three parts of the sentence, which are dependent on each other, make up the meaning of this verse.

5.      The need,

sometimes, it is a necessity. For example when the woman is old, or sick; If the man had to settle for a woman only, it would fail to preserve her chastity. It also happens that there children with her and if he merely one woman, he fears that it is trying not to marry another or he fears may be even to fall into adultery. If he divorced, he will separate the children. This problem cannot be resolved by polygamy.

Allah has cited jointly alliances and kinship: "And it is that water has created a human species that it unites by the ties of kinship and the alliance..." (S25/V54).  So, polygamy allows to unite families, create between alliances, and it is one of the reasons that prompted the Prophet () to marry several women.  This allows to maintain a large number of women, and to meet their material needs and their housing; It also allows to have many children and numerous offspring, and this is something recommended by religion.  Although now mostly Western economists suggest us that population growth is negatively correlated with economic growth.  Well This Is faux.
For some countries, population growth goes hand in hand with economic growth (China, Senegal, United States...) for others it is the opposite (Sudan, Ethiopia,...) while for others including the Zimbabwe, the two notions are absolutely not related, in other words they vary independently from the other.

6.      Need Important sexually

Some men have sexual needs, and they cannot settle for a single woman. A man can be pious and chaste and fear of committing adultery, and he wants to satisfy his needs in a lawful manner. So it's a mercy of Allah that he has allowed human beings human polygamy, correctly.  You will recognize that in general the sexual needs are greater in men than in women. Perhaps you will say that it is a male vision of things, there are exceptions, but remember that the exception confirms the rule. Look around you or use your personal experience and that maybe you'll be in my opinion.  The notion of Mistress exist in the West. What hypocrisy! It is a hidden polygamy which does not say his name and thought that polygamy is the other. The monogamy of certain "intellectuals" (I put the word in quotation marks because its meaning depends on the country you are in, lay. The two compete, each trying to appeal up to her husband and thus avoiding divorce. in more polygamy allows remarriage and decreases women's celibacy.  Did you know that 2/3 of marriages in France eventually divorces!  How many women, for example, following a divorce find themselves without means of subsistence? How many children are disturbed because that torn between both parents? And how many fathers are deprived of their offspring they love? Separations have become too frequent and many couples to the slightest crisis or hitch choose to separate rather than calmly analyze the situation and confront him.
     II.            Consequences and harms polygamy

1.       Unhappy life

A happy married life depends on sincerity, tolerance, sacrifice and harmony in the couple. All these qualities are threatened when there is polygamy. In addition to the abnormal conditions in which live wives and children with more than one mother , the man has to bear the burden of his many wives . So when is resigned to polygamy , it should say goodbye to happiness and peace of mind that normally expected of a married life . Most happy polygamous men are those who have neglected their legal and moral responsibilities, looking only at the new wife , leaving the first and leaving " as suspended" by the Qur’an term . Such polygamy is in fact a monogamy accompanied by injustice, transgression and aggression.
Polygamy poses too many problems in families, such as rivalries between wives.

Islam wants that the two women can live in two different houses but most polygamists are grouped in the same house and when one of them is missing, his children become slaves waiting for another mother.

 2.  Evil practice

The " office " marabous and fetishists are very popular by Senegalese all for just hurt their (s) co-wife (s ) to the left or to kill for good!

3.  Violent scenes

Who has not seen or heard of violent scenes between co-wives enjoy sleep as her rival to pour him water or boiling oil ? Laillahaillalah !

Some women will even do eat their rival or even their husbands dish in which they mix well pounded broken bottles ( they become indistinguishable from view ) and you know that in this case , death occurs invariably in 24 h after ! What wickedness ! There are bad women even when most of the violence in the world are the work of men .

4.  Polygamy can contribute to the spread of HIV / AIDS.

A polygamous man who contracted the AIDS virus sends its women with a high probability (probability may be 1 even). I'll tell you a story that happened in the natural region of Casamance (Senegal’s) to support this point. It is often said that example is better than a long speech. It was ( as he died ) , Modou Modou a Senegalese who had emigrated to Italy. There contracted HIV and came home where he found his wives. You can imagine the «hunger «of a man who remains several years without seeing his wives! A few months later, he died. As you know how it often happens in the country (especially in villages), it is his little brother who inherits his wives. And you can imagine the result. One of the women, then the other, and finally the new husband joined the former husband!! It was only later that they realized that the emigrant had actually AIDS

conclusion

If a man believes that polygamy - with all the legal and moral responsibilities it implies - is a source of happiness and well-being for him, I think he certainly wrong because it is certain that if we seeks happiness and rest, they find much more with a single wife with several wives. But ...Conflits Can erupt same household in a monogamous household. They can also be avoided even within a polygamous household, as seen. Assuming that such conflicts are more likely in polygamous households and that these conflicts can be regarded as purely harmful and bad, they are nevertheless carrying many goods because it does not exist in a pure life well or pure evil . What we always try is to make the good things outweigh the bad. It is this rule that should apply in the case of option for polygamy.
